New to Karate?

Beginners

Just started or thinking about coming along?

Stepping into the Dojo for the first time is by far the greatest step you will take on your Karate journey. But please be assured, whilst we adhere to traditional Japanese Dojo Etiquette, or clubs are very welcoming. Classes run throughout the week, and are entirely flexible to suit your itinerary – train as many or as few times a week as you would like.

Sensei Donna is always available to answer any queries that you may have regarding starting. We have also compiled a useful section of frequently asked questions as well has what to expect to help you understand your first experiences inside a Karate Dojo.

Tiger Tots

Classes specifically for 4-6 year olds.

Our tailor made program of basic karate tuition and developmental games is now in it’s 11th successful year.

Tiger Tots is designed to develop a child’s co-ordination and motor-stills, whilst building confidence, independence and self-discipline.

The classes are 45 minutes in duration and incorporate Kihon (basics) and Kata (formal exercise). The syllabus for the Kyu grades (coloured belts) is the same as the regular syllabus allowing direct progression to the junior classes.

Children develop at their own pace, in a fun and controlled environment.
